Family Service Association

About FSA

A non-governmental, non-partisan and non-profit organization working for a socially and economically empowered Ethiopia.

Establishment

Family Service Association (FSA) is a non-governmental, non-partisan and non-profit organization, established in the year 2000 by a group of volunteer Ethiopian professionals with rich experience in gender, human rights, RH/FP, HIV/AIDS, GBV/VAW, social work, as well as other multi-sectoral development.

FSA had its legal entity by registering with the Ministry of Justice in 2006. It was re-registered as an “Ethiopian Resident Charity” following the new Charities and Societies Law in 2010, under registration number 0622.

FSA has a Three-Year Strategic Plan and a Management (SPM) document that guides its strategic direction, action plans, human resources, and monitoring and evaluation system.
